OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network has announced plans to air a star-studded gospel music special in December titled Our OWN Christmas, and hosted by Meagan Good and DeVon Franklin.
The broadcast will feature performances by The Clark Sisters, Kierra Sheard, Erica Campbell, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard, Le’Andria Johnson, Ne-Yo, Boyz II Men, and more.
A second gospel music special is currently in production and will air on OWN sometime around Easter 2021.

The programs are produced by Holly Carter and Relevé Entertainment, an All3Media America company, as part of Carter’s new first-look development deal with the cable network.
“Holly is a force in the industry with a deep connection to our audience,” OWN President Tina Perry said in a statement Thursday. “We are excited to premiere music specials on OWN for the first time and to create new original unscripted programming that will lift up the spirits of so many viewers through the power of storytelling.”
OWN’s partnership with Carter will focus on creating unscripted series and specials for the network’s audience of Black women viewers that center on faith, love, relationships and unity.
“OWN’s mission to inspire and entertain, while empowering viewers to live their best lives is one that aligns perfectly with my own,” said Carter. “I’m looking forward to working with the OWN team to create engaging content that’s driven by faith, family, redemption, and the inspiration that compels us to live out our dreams.”

Carter is the founder of Relevé Entertainment. She most recently created and executive produced Lifetime’s popular The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel.
Our OWN Christmas is Carter’s first program at OWN under her new deal. The special is set to air on Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 9:00 p.m. –10:00 p.m
