The annual “OWN for the Holidays” programming event returns with three original movies.
The films titled A Season to Remember; Mistletoe & Matrimony; and 24-Karat Christmas celebrate “the true meaning of the season by putting love, friends and family first,” OWN said in a press release.
The movies are set to premiere over three consecutive Saturdays in December.

A Season to Remember stars Michele Weaver (Love Is) and Nathan Owens (9-1-1).
The film follows sports reporter Symone Gibson (Weaver), who is ambitious and good at her job, but struggles with the challenges of being a woman in a male-dominated field, according to the official description. As she chases down a story, Symone finds romance and a new sense of direction.
A Season to Remember premieres Saturday, Dec. 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT
Next up is Mistletoe & Matrimony starring Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut (Chicago Med) and Etienne Maurice (Scream Queens).
The film centers on Olivia Morris (Sharpe Chestnut), a successful wedding planner who plays it safe in life and love. When she is tasked with planning her younger sister’s Christmas Eve wedding, Olivia runs into her ex-boyfriend, Isaiah (Maurice), who returns from overseas to help with the wedding. When sparks fly with her former flame, Olivia considers living life on her own terms this holiday season.
Mistletoe & Matrimony premieres Saturday, Dec. 14 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT
The final film is 24-Karat Christmas starring Samantha Marie Ware (All Rise) and Curtis Hamilton (The Kings of Napa).
Trish (Ware), an unlucky-in-love jewelry designer, accidentally sends a set of Christmas wedding bands off with the wrong person. As she and the best man, Book Mosely (Hamilton), work together to track down the rings, they learn you can’t wait for love to find you, you have to go out and find it.
24-Karat Christmas premieres Saturday, Dec. 21 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT
“OWN has long been a pioneer in creating original holiday movies that resonate deeply with Black audiences, showcasing diverse talent at the forefront of our storytelling and bringing families together during this special time of year,” OWN President Tina Perry said in a statement.
The movies are all produced by Fox Entertainment Studios’ MarVista Entertainment with Megan Ellstrom, Larry Grimaldi, Hannah Pillemer, and Fernando Szew as executive producers.
