Former child star Orlando Brown was arrested on Thursday in Lima, Ohio, on suspicion of domestic violence.

Police were called to a home about a fight with someone inside the house and Brown was taken into custody.

According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department’s online inmate portal, Brown, 35, was charged with aggravated menacing at 10:32 a.m. Thursday.

TMZ reported Brown’s brother Matthew lives at the home and told police he allowed the actor to stay with him because Orlando is “homeless.” Matthew reportedly said Orlando was acting “crazy” and allegedly brandished a broken knife blade and a hammer.

Brown is a veteran TV star and is best known for his roles on That’s So Raven, Family Matters, and The Proud Family.

The actor has been in and out of jail over the years on domestic violence and drug charges.

In 2016, he was arrested in Torrance, California, and later charged with domestic violence for allegedly hitting his then-girlfriend. The incident happened in a police parking lot.

Brown failed to attend a scheduled court hearing and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Police later took him into custody in March of that year in Barstow, California, after officers responded to another domestic violence complaint.

In 2018, Brown appeared on an episode of Dr. Phil after the actor’s friends reported he was homeless, on drugs and struggling with mental illness. During the interview, Brown made false claims that he was the son of music legend Michael Jackson and he mentioned living at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. Dr. Phil offered to send him to rehab, but Brown said that was a “slap in the face.”
