Nikki Garcia returned to the spotlight on the Netflix Labor Day special, Chestnut VS. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef.
Along with Garcia, actor and comedian Rob Riggle co-hosted the live event, which saw competitive eating legend Joey Chestnut top his own record and beat his rival, Takeru Kobayashi, by devouring 83 hot dogs in 10 minutes.
Garcia, a former WWE star known to fans as Nikki Bella, was all smiles during the special, even telling the crowd that she loved them too and was “happy to be there.”
Monday’s event marked Garcia’s first public appearance since her husband, Dancing with the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev, was arrested last Thursday (Aug. 29) on suspicion of felony domestic violence in Napa County, California.

Hours after his arrest, Chigvintsev was released after posting bail. His bond had been set at $25,000.
The sheriff’s department never did release the name of the alleged victim, but told ABC News in a statement that investigators were giving the person “adequate time to deal with what unfolded before making the person talk more to detectives.”
Still, reps for Garcia released a statement on Friday, Aug. 30, noting how the family was asking for “privacy at this time.”
Chigvintsev called 911 for medical assistance, then denied assistance. The call does help shed a little more light on the situation.
In the call, which was obtained by TMZ, the two were in an argument and Garcia allegedly “threw shoes” at him.
The couple met in 2017, while Garcia was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. Five years later, in August 2022, Garcia and Chigvintsev married in Paris.
