Dancing with the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev was arrested Thursday, on suspicion of felony domestic violence.
According to ABC News, the 42-year-old dancer was taken into custody around 10 a.m. in Napa County, California.
Chigvintsev did not resist arrest, the Napa County Sheriff’s Department told the news outlet.
He was booked into the Napa County Jail and according to jail records, his bond was set at $25,000. After posting bail, he was released around 2:15 pm PT.

The sheriff’s department did not release the name of the alleged victim, but said investigators are giving the person “adequate time to deal with what unfolded before making the person talk more to detectives.”
Chigvintsev is married to WWE star Nikki Garcia (formerly known professionally as Nikki Bella).
Reps for Garcia said in a statement on Friday, Aug. 30: “This is a private matter, and Nikki asks for privacy for her and her family at this time.”
The couple met while Garcia was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars in 2017. In August 2022, they married in Paris.
Just days before Chigvintsev’s arrest, the couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary on Tuesday. Both of them took to Instagram to mark the occasion.
Chigvintsev shared several photos from their wedding with the caption, “Happy anniversary my love, can’t see my life without you. You are my everything.”
The two share a 4-year-old son.
The Russian-born Chigvintsev competed for 12 seasons of Dancing with the Stars. In season 32, the professional dancer finished fourth with Bachelorette alum Charity Lawson.
A few seasons before, in season 29, he won the Mirrorball Trophy with Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe.
