NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey are reuniting on The Upshaws.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alums will appear on part 6 of the Netflix comedy, which premieres in January.
The streamer released promotional photos and a trailer for the new season, showing Leakes and Bailey dressed up, and enjoying drinks in a restaurant, with both looking a little annoyed — though we won’t know what’s bothering them until the show returns.

It’s worth mentioning Leakes and Bailey are no strangers to acting.
Leakes’ resume includes being a series regular on past shows including Glee and The New Normal. She also guest-starred on The CW’s Dynasty reboot and BET’s First Wives Club.
Meanwhile, former model Bailey starred in the Lifetime movie Cruel Instruction and had a recurring role on the Starz crime drama BMF.
Part 6 of The Upshaws was filmed in Los Angeles and begins streaming on Jan. 9, 2025. Instead of actual seasons, Netflix has released the series in “parts” since it debuted in May 2021.
Acting veteran Phil Morris will also guest star on part 6.
Morris starred in the 1980s series Mission: Impossible. He also had a role on The Young and the Restless, and recurring parts on Seinfeld, Love Boat: The Next Wave, Girlfriends, Smallville, and Doom Patrol.
The Upshaws was created by Wanda Skyes and Regina Hicks. The comedy series follows Bernard “Bennie” Upshaw (Mike Epps) and his sister-in-law Lucretia Turner (Wanda Sykes) — who are frequently at odds.
Bennie is a well-intentioned mechanic and lifelong mess who is trying his best to step up and care for his family, which includes his wife Regina (Kim Fields), their two daughters (Khali Spraggins, Journey Christine), his firstborn son (Jermelle Simon), and the teenage son (Diamond Lyons) he fathered with another woman (Gabrielle Dennis).
The comedy shows a working-class Black family in Indiana navigating life’s ups and downs as they do their best to get things right.
