Megan Thee Stallion is ready to share her personal story with fans.
The “Savage” rapper took to Instagram on Oct. 14 to announce details on her upcoming feature-length documentary, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words for Amazon MGM Studios.
“Hotties my documentary is out Oct 31st. I’m nervous and excited for yall to see it butttt it’s finally here,” wrote the three-time Grammy winner.

Per Variety, the official announcement reads: “Follow the Houston native’s journey on the road to stardom as she tenaciously navigates fame, grief, pressure and success. The documentary unpacks Megan’s most vulnerable moments in a powerful way that allows fans to meet the real Megan Pete.”
Nneka Onuorah directed the project for Time Studios, Roc Nation, and Nneka Productions.
“I feel so honored to work with Amazon MGM Studios, Roc Nation, and Time Studios to share Megan’s story,” said Onuorah in a statement. “Her raw and beautiful spirit really shines through in the film. She is a champion for all women who deserve their truth to be heard.”
Onuorah is also one of the executive producers along with Loren Hammonds and Dave O’Connor for Time Studios; Lori York and Desiree Perez for Roc Nation, and Alexa Conway and Ian Orefice.
The director has a first-look series and film deal with Amazon MGM Studios. One of her last projects with the studio was in 2022 with the reality competition series, Lizzo’s Watch Out For The Big Grrrls, which earned Onuorah her first Emmy nomination and win.
Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words will be available to stream on Prime Video starting on Oct. 31.
