‘Married to Medicine’ Season 11 Trailer: Dr. Contessa Returns to the Drama

“I’m back, did you miss me?” Dr. Contessa Metcalfe asks in the explosive Married to Medicine season 11 trailer.

Fans last saw Dr. Contessa on the Bravo reality series in season 9. Her departure was announced ahead of the debut of season 10 in March 2023. Now, she’s returning in the upcoming season as a friend.

Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Toya Bush Harris, Quad Webb, Phaedra Parks, and Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford will all be back as well.

In the trailer, everyone starts out on their best behavior. But it doesn’t take long for the insults and name-calling to begin.

“Some people can be played with, but I’m not one of them,” Phaedra warns.

The upcoming season will see the cast go on vacation to Key West and per Bravo, the ladies arrive at a “friendship crossroads with some of the women ready to renew bonds while others are collecting apologies.” 

Dr. Jackie is trying to do her best work while keeping the tranquility among the women.

Dr. Simone is trying to move forward selectively in friendships.

Dr. Heavenly is doing some self-reflection and while trying to right her wrongs, Phaedra is trying to help repair any friendships in need of healing.

Toya is making sure everyone in the group stays accountable, and Lateasha has baby fever and is working full time with Dr. G to expand their family.

Phaedra gets a surprise visit from someone from her past.

New friend Dr. Mimi Sanders joins the series for season for the new season.

As per the official synopsis, Sanders is an “accomplished psychiatrist specializing in women’s mental health and she will make sure her opinion is heard when getting to know this group.”

Married to Medicine is produced by  FremantleMedia North America and developed by  Purveyors of Pop. Executive producers include  Matt Anderson, Nate Green, Mariah Huq, Paul Yuan, and James Smith-Hill.

Season 11 of Married to Medicine premieres on Sunday, Nov. 24 at  9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. The next day, the episodes will be available to stream on Peacock.
