Los Angeles police have been fielding calls from residents in East Hollywood, saying they are fed up with Kanye West.

People in the area told local news station KTLA 5 the rapper, who now goes by Ye, has been holding loud parties and auditions at a warehouse on the corner of Beverly Boulevard and Kingsley Drive.

“There are raves and concerts here on the weekends,” a man named Justin Wang told the TV station. “On weekdays, there’s been noises, there’s been groups of men doing push-ups and other exercises over here, and you can hear music blaring from the parking lot.”

In March, Ye posted and later deleted a flyer on social media asking for “volunteers” to portray his “hooligan choir” in a performance of the song “Carnival.”

The casting notice said Ye was looking for Black males with the same “skin complexion of Sean Combs or darker” and shaved heads. It said “NO FAT PEOPLE” and noted that anyone attending must be “COMFORTABLE WEARING SWASTIKAS.”

People in the neighborhood said there’s an elementary school nearby and they’re concerned about what children might see or hear.

But with tall metal gates surrounding the warehouse, they weren’t sure what exactly was happening in the warehouse.

“They put up metal walls now, so we don’t know what’s going on,” said nearby resident Conor Tierney. “Then [we heard] chanting of only men dressed in black… it’s been weird to see.”

TMZ obtained video from inside the gate. It showed a group of Black men with shaved heads. They were dressed in black pants and T-shirts and were walking around the parking lot as Ye’s music played in the background.

The LAPD told KTLA the department received seven noise complaints about the location in recent weeks.

The department said it responded to the building after receiving a report of a swastika painted on the building, but no one was arrested.
