Police believe the woman was “uninvolved and unassociated” with the crime.
The pups named Koji and Gustav were snatched from dog walker Ryan Fischer in the area of Sierra Bonita Avenue and Sunset Boulevard on Wednesday night.
Fischer was walking the singer’s three French bulldogs when he was approached by two men in a four door Nissan Altima.
The suspects demanded Fischer turn over the dogs at gunpoint. When he refused, they shot him, grabbed two of the pups and fled. A black French bulldog named Miss Asia was recovered at the scene.
The shooting was recorded by a surveillance camera in the neighborhood. For now, the two suspects remain at large.
Lady Gaga is currently in Rome filming a movie.
