Kevin Hart had strong words for comedian Katt Williams during a Friday morning appearance on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club.
Williams came up during a conversation about Hart’s upcoming movie, Night School, and the film’s co-star, Tiffany Haddish.
Hart, 39, was upset that the Great America comic questioned Haddish’s rise to fame in a recent interview, doubting whether she could “tell jokes back-to-back for an hour.”
“You can’t tell me your favorite Tiffany Haddish joke. Why? Because she ain’t done a tour yet. She ain’t done a special. She has not proven the ability to tell jokes, back to back, for an hour, to nobody,” Williams said during a Sept. 14 interview with V-103’s Frank and Wanda Show.

The 47-year-old Emmy winner also brought up Girls Trip, the movie that launched Haddish into stardom.
“And they already ready to down Mo’Nique and up somebody who has showed them Girls Trip,” he added, about Hollywood decision makers. “Did you think she wrote Girls Trip, goofball? Or do you think that was already a script and they handed it to her?”
Williams later admitted he was “really sorry” for his choice of words, and Haddish seemingly forgave him when they ran into each other at the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards Monday night. The entertainer was even pictured kneeling at Haddish’s feet in a gesture of goodwill.
But Hart clearly wasn’t impressed with the stand-up vet’s apology because he went on a rant about how Williams is supposedly bitter that he blew his shot in Hollywood.
“My frustrations with Katt Williams come from, you keep pointing Hollywood. Hollywood this. The white man. This, this, and this. When do you take responsibility for your actions?” Hart said to host Charlamagne Tha God while Haddish, who was also present for the interview, nodded in agreement.
“You had the shot! You were set up to be the star. You didn’t show up to work! You f—ed off promo shoots! You f—ed off promo trips. You became a risk to the studios, which is why the studio stopped f—ing with you,” Hart added.
The dad-of-three also brought the topic of drugs into the conversation, stating: “He chose drugs. Take responsibility for what you chose and say you know what, ‘I gotta fix me and Ima [sic] come back and stand up for comedy.’”

Hart was likely alluding to Williams’ recent run-ins with the law.
The comedian was sued in April for allegedly striking a waiter in the face with a salt shaker during a visit to a restaurant in 2016, “causing injury” to the man’s mouth and face, according to documents obtained by Courthouse News Service.
A year prior, he pleaded no contest to second-degree robbery for stealing a celebrity photographer’s camera.
The felony charge stemmed from a 2014 incident outside FilmOn Studios in Beverly Hills. Prosecutors said Williams and former hip-hop mogul Marion “Suge” Knight snatched photographer Leslie Redden’s camera during a confrontation.
Williams was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to complete 54 weeks of anger management classes, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said at the time.
Hart and Haddish ended the interview on a positive note, asking fans to support their movie when it premieres on Sept. 28.
