Kenya Moore doesn’t dispute NeNe Leakes’ claim that she “built” The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but Moore says that house has since been repossessed.

Moore addressed Leakes’ comment during an interview this week with former RHOA producer Carlos King on his “Reality With the King” podcast.

“She’s a force all her own, you can’t take that away from her,” Moore said about Leakes. “That’s one thing about me, I am never not going to give you your flowers, she was a major force.”

But Moore said Leakes’ influence on RHOA has long since passed.

“She built the house, but it got foreclosed on,” Moore told King. “I mean, she didn’t pay the bills.”

King laughed then asked, “Who took over the deed?” Moore laughed and flipped her hair.

Last month, NeNe sat down with King and said she no longer watches RHOA because the show is “tumbling down” without her.

“I’ve never watched since I left, but I have honestly watched the clips that have come down social media,” she said. “But me turning my TV on and tuning in, is just something I cannot do because as far as I’m concerned, they’re all sitting in my house, the house that I built.”

Leakes was part of the original RHOA cast and appeared on the show from 2008 to 2020.

Kenya was diplomatic in her response To NeNe’s comments. She also talked about her divorce and growing up in challenging circumstances.
