Kanye West is no longer going to Coachella.

After months of controversy for his social media posts bashing ex-wife Kim Kardashian, her boyfriend Pete Davidson, and comedian Trevor Noah, the hip-hop star has dropped out of his headlining slot at the festival, TMZ reported Monday.

No reason was given from West as of yet. The rapper’s two-weekend festival performance was also set to feature Travis Scott, who won’t be performing either. It would have been the first major appearance for Scott since his deadly Astroworld festival.

According to published reports, Scott was supposed to headline Coachella back in 2020 before it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was then booked for 2022 but later taken off the card after the Astroworld tragedy.

On Friday, Page Six reported West told Kim Kardashian that he was “going away to get help” amid a string of controversy.

West, who now goes by the name Ye, had not rehearsed or prepared for his set, some media outlets reported.

The Coachella festival is currently scheduled to run on the weekends of April 15-17 and April 22-24. No other changes to the lineup have been announced as of yet. Remaining headliners include, Harry Styles, and Three Six Mafia.

The festival had been promoting West’s appearance for months.
