The judge in Jonathan Majors’ assault trial unsealed text messages, photos, audio recordings, and surveillance footage Wednesday that were presented as evidence in the case.

Immediately after New York Criminal Court Judge Michael Gaffey issued his ruling, media outlets including TMZ, People, Variety, Inside Edition, and the New York Post published transcripts, audio, video and pictures.

The evidence presented by prosecutors, included voice recordings of conversations between Majors and ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari; photos of Jabbari’s alleged injuries; video of a confused Jabbari “unconscious” in Majors’ home; and video of the actor running away from her after the confrontation on March 25, 2023, that led to the Marvel star’s arrest.

Photos published by the New York Post showed bruising on one of Jabbari’s fingers, a cut behind her ear, and alleged bruising on her neck.

In surveillance video published by TMZ of the March incident, Majors appeared to pick Jabbari up after she got out of the back of the SUV they were in, and “push” her back into the vehicle. She got out of the car again, leading to a short scuffle on the sidewalk. Majors then ran down the street and Jabbari chased him, nearly getting hit by a car.

In a recording of a 911 call from March 26, Majors said he found Jabbari “unconscious” inside a closet in his apartment. The Creed III star told the dispatcher she was “naked from the bottom down” and he believed she “attempted suicide,” according to a transcript obtained by People.

Body-camera footage recorded by responding NYPD officers showed Jabbari sprawled out on the floor with a blanket covering the lower half of her body.

In a recording of a September 2022 conversation between Jabbari and Majors, the actor berated her for returning home “drunk” after a night out with a friend. The actor told her he was destined to do “great” things and needed a woman by his side of a “certain mindset to support” him, like Coretta Scott King and Michelle Obama — supportive partners to famous Black men.

“I’m a great man, a great man. I am doing great things, not just for me but for my culture and for the world. That is actually the position I’m in,” Majors said.

The defense rested its case Wednesday and closing arguments are expected to begin Thursday before the case goes to the jury.

Majors, 34, is accused of assaulting Jabbari on March 25, as they rode to dinner in a chauffeured SUV.

The two began to argue when Jabbari noticed a text message on Majors’ phone from a woman named Cleopatra, who wrote “wish I was kissing you.” Jabbari grabbed the phone to read the message. She said Majors responded by twisting her arm behind her back.

An NYPD spokesperson said at the time that Jabbari suffered minor injuries to her head and neck during the confrontation and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star is charged with assault in the third degree, three counts of attempted assault in the third degree, one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, and one count of harassment in the second degree.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges, which are all misdemeanors.
