Jennifer Hudson Unveils Premiere Date and Title of New Talk Show

Recent EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson comes to daytime TV in September with the premiere of The Jennifer Hudson Show.

Warner Bros. Television announced the show’s Sept. 12 premiere date in a recent press release and Hudson shared the news on social media, saying the program kicks off on her 41st birthday.

“I can’t believe I get to say this, but welcome to my show !!! Let’s light up daytime beginning September 12th! Wait a minute, that’s my birthday!!” the Respect actress wrote on Twitter.

Hudson will executive produce alongside showrunners and executive producers Mary Connelly, Andy Lassner and Corey Palent (The Ellen DeGeneres Show). Lisa Kasteler Calio, Graehme Morphy and Walter Williams III are additional executive producers with Shani Black (Red Table Talk, Dr. Phil).

The show will enter into national syndication this fall on Fox Television Stations, Hearst Television, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Tegna, Nexstar Media Group, Scripps Media, Gray Media Group, and other station groups. Check local listings.

Variety reports the show will be taped from the same studio Ellen used on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank.
