Showtime has set a fall premiere for the upcoming film Heist 88 starring Courtney B. Vance.
The network also released a first-look photo, which shows the two-time Emmy winner in character as a criminal mastermind planning his next score.
Inspired by true events in 1988, the crime drama follows Jeremy Horne (Vance), who decides to pull off one last job before going to prison. Horne recruits four young bank employees to steal close to $80 million dollars in a daring assault on the U.S. banking system.

Menhaj Huda directed the film from a script written by Dwayne Johnson-Cochran.

Vance, Lynnette Ramirez and Dwayne Johnson-Cochran for Bassett Vance Productions and Van Toffler and Barry Barclay for Gunpowder & Sky. Amal Baggar, Mychael Chinn, and Donny Hugo Herran serve as executive producers for MTV Entertainment Studios.
