The ladies of Harlem will enter a “new era” when the third and final season of the Prime Video series premieres on Jan. 23.

The dramedy follows four professional Black women — Camille (Meagan Good), Quinn (Grace Byers), Tye (Jerrie Johnson), and Angie (Shoniqua Shandai) as they navigate life and relationships in New York City.

In a press release on Wednesday, Jan. 8, Prime Video said the series will end with season 3.

“I’m beyond grateful to the whole team at Amazon for giving me the chance of a lifetime to tell these four Black women’s stories and shoot it in the city I love: Harlem. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m honored to see the impact it’s made in the culture, as well as the impact it’s had on all of us who’ve been blessed to work on it,” series creator and writer Tracy Oliver said in a statement.

“A huge thank you to everyone who’s watched the show. I’m excited to finally share our best season yet,” Oliver added.

Season 2 ended with a shocking cliffhanger that saw Camille wondering if Ian (Tyler Lepley) would choose to spend his life with her instead of his new bride.

Judging by the newly released season 3  trailer, it seems things didn’t work out for Ian and Camille as a new woman enters the picture.

In the new season, all four of the core ladies in the cast will face “change like never before,” according to the official description.

The final season will welcome newcomers Kofi Siriboe, Logan Browning, Robin Givens, and Gail Bean in recurring roles.

As per the official description, Siriboe will portray Seth, “an MLB player whose confident, charming, and sweet mannerisms land him a spot in one of the ladies’ hearts.” He’s shown in the trailer romancing Quinn (Grace Byers).

Browning plays Portia, “an edgy and beautiful woman whose return to Harlem causes a stir.”

Bean will play Robin Givens’ daughter Eva, who is a “driven, yet playful venture capitalist who has started working with Tye (Jerrie Johnson).”

The series debuted in 2021, and is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Paper Kite Productions.

“As we prepare to say goodbye to this incredible series, we’re both grateful for the journey Tracy has taken us on and excited for our global customers to experience a final season that truly honors these characters,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios.

Executive producers include Tracy Oliver, Paper Kite’s Amy Poehler, and Kim Lessing.

Also, 3 Arts’ Dave Becky, Britt Matt, and 13-time Grammy Award winner Pharrell Williams and Mimi Valdés from i am OTHER are executive producers.

The third and final season of Harlem premieres Jan. 23 on Prime Video.
