NBC has given a full series order for George Lopez’s new comedy Lopez vs. Lopez.
The series is described as “a working-class family comedy about dysfunction, reconnection and all the pain and joy in between,” according to a press release from the network.
The 61-year-old comedian will star alongside his daughter Mayan Lopez. Selenis Leyva, Brice Gonzalez, Matt Shively, Laci Mosley (recurring) and Kiran Deol (recurring) are also part of the cast.

The executive producers are Debby Wolfe and Bruce Helford, who both wrote the pilot. Helford also worked with Lopez on his self-titled sitcom, George Lopez. Lopez will also executive produce alongside Katie Newman and Michael Rotenberg, and his daughter acts as a producer on the show.
