Garcelle Beauvais is branching out from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to narrate a true crime series on real crimes.

The actress and reality star is partnering with Oxygen for Real Murders of Los Angeles.

The true crime series premieres Oct. 6, and will take viewers “into the dark underbelly” of the glamorous city, per Oxygen.

Among the crimes followed on the show is the murder case of Sherri Rae Rasmussen, a newlywed who was found beaten and fatally shot in the apartment she shared with her new husband in 1986. Twenty three years later, detectives re-examined evidence in the cold case, including a bite mark on the victim’s arm, that led them to the unlikely killer – a scorned LAPD Detective.
