Floyd Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend Josie Harris was pronounced dead after being found unresponsive in a car outside her California home Tuesday night, according to published reports.

Police arrived at Harris’ house in Valencia, outside Los Angeles, around 10:00 p.m. where they found 40-year-old Harris, KABC-TV reported.

“It was learned the woman was discovered inside a vehicle parked in a driveway of a residence where it is believed she lived,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told the TV station.

Homicide investigators from the sheriff’s department are handling the case, but they do not suspect foul play.

Harris, who appeared in the TLC reality series Starter Wives Confidential, was in a relationship with Mayweather from 1995 to 2010. They share three children together: sons Koraun, 20, and Zion, 18, and daughter Jirah, 15.

Harris and the boxing champion had a troubled past, with the mother of his children claiming that Mayweather physically abused her on numerous occasions.

Mayweather denied the abuse allegations during an interview with Katie Couric and Harris subsequently sued him for $20 million for defamation.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a trial date in the case was set for Dec. 7, 2020.
