Felicity Huffman reported to a federal prison Tuesday to begin a 14-day sentence for her role in the college admissions scandal.
The Desperate Housewives star surrendered to authorities at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California, according to The Associated Press. The facility, located just outside San Francisco, is a low-security prison for women.
Huffman is expected to serve the full 14 days because there is no time off for good behavior in the federal prison system for sentences of less than a year.
“Ms. Huffman is prepared to serve the term of imprisonment Judge Talwani ordered as one part of the punishment she imposed for Ms. Huffman’s actions,” a representative for the actress said in a statement to the media.
