Familiar faces from the music industry will celebrate familiar faces from film at the 97th Oscars.
Doja Cat, Queen Latifah, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Lisa of Blackpink, and Raye are all set to perform at this year’s awards, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Monday.
The singers have been tapped for special performances “celebrating the filmmaking community and some of its legends,” Oscars executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katy Mullan said in a statement.

The show will also feature an appearance by the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
In addition to performing, Erivo and Grande are both nominated for their roles in the blockbuster film Wicked. Erivo picked up a nomination in the best actress category, while Grande received a supporting actress nod.
Wicked enters the awards with 10 nods, while musical crime saga Emilia Pérez leads the competition with 13 nominations.
In a change this year, none of the best original song nominees will be performed at the Oscars ceremony.
Instead, the academy plans to focus on the songwriters and “celebrate their artistry through personal reflections from the teams who bring these songs to life, according to ABC.
Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the Oscars air live from Hollywood on ABC and stream live on Hulu on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, with the official live red carpet show airing at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.
More talent is expected to be announced in the next few days.
