Don’t expect any “B.S.” on the new CNN talk show King Charles, so says Charles Barkley.
The NBA star-turned-TNT-analyst co-hosts the limited series with CBS Mornings anchor Gayle King.
CNN announced the show’s premiere date on Monday and released a new promo.
“This is our unfiltered take on the biggest stories of the day,” King says in the video.
A narrator promises the two “won’t hold anything back.”

Per CNN, the one-hour talk show will feature King and Barkley “engaging each other, their guests and their audience in freewheeling and authentic conversations centered around the week’s most interesting stories, moments and cultural themes.”
The show was announced in April.
As previously reported, King will continue to co-anchor CBS Mornings, and Barkley will remain at his job as an NBA analyst on Warner Bros. Discovery Sports programming.
Earlier this year, Barkley said he wants the new show to be “nonpolitical.”
“We don’t want to say we’re a liberal, conservative, Republican, Democrat, that’s one of the things that’s already ruined television in general. I know she’s going to be a straight shooter. I’m going to be a straight shooter,” he explained.
CNN noted topics on the series will range from hard-hitting issues like gun control to pop culture.
King Charles debuts Wednesday Nov. 29 at 10PM ET on CNN.
