Chris Brown is under investigation for alleged battery after a woman said the singer slapped her at his home in the Tarzana neighborhood of Los Angeles last week.

According to published reports, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were called to the 19600 block of Citrus Ridge Drive around 7:30 a.m. Friday.

Brown was not at home when police arrived, ABC 7 reported. Officers interviewed the woman, who said the “Go Crazy” artist allegedly struck her after they argued.

TMZ reports the slap was so hard, that the woman reported her “weave came off.” So far, no arrest has been made.

The LAPD was also called in last month to respond to noise complaints about Brown’s massive birthday party.

The singer, 32, has had several encounters with police in the past, including pleading guilty to committing felony domestic assault against Rihanna in 2009. Brown was also arrested in 2018 after one of his concerts on a felony battery charge for allegedly punching a photographer in Tampa for taking a photo of him without permission. The charge was later dropped.

So far, Brown’s team has not released an official statement on the incident that occurred last weekend.
