Chris Brown’s fans are loyal, especially when it comes to sifting through his old stuff.

A massive crowd of fans and bargain-hunters gathered outside the Grammy winner’s home in the Tarzana neighborhood of Los Angeles Wednesday, for a yard sale “featuring significantly marked-down high end designer items.”

The “Loyal” singer posted a flyer on his social media accounts ahead of the sale, announcing it would take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 19602 Citrus Ridge Drive.

“First come first served,” the flyer read.

Video posted on Twitter by CBS Los Angeles showed several tents set up outside Brown’s home.

According to local news reports, people were lined up as early as 4 a.m., with some holding blankets and camping out on lawn chairs.

Later in the day, local TV stations showed the crowd extending for blocks, and a food truck pulling up to feed the hungry shoppers.

A news release for the sale said the items were “either new or have been worn by Chris Brown in music video shoots, red carpet events, etc.”

The release added that “a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a few non-profit organizations that Brown supports,” although it didn’t specify which organizations, or how much would go to charity.

According to TMZ, Brown’s neighbors and the Los Angeles Police Department were steamed about the crowds.

The website said the LAPD tried to shut the sale down, claiming Brown didn’t have the proper permit, but the singer’s legal time got involved and the sale went on as planned.
