Last week the Boyce family released a statement saying Cameron’s “tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy.”

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office completed his autopsy on July 8, but an official cause of death was “deferred pending further investigation.”

The actor was best known for starring in Disney Channel’s Descendants franchise as Carlos, Cruella de Vil’s son.

Following his death, Disney canceled the red carpet premiere for Descendants 3. The movie will premiere August 2 on the Disney Channel.
