Brandy Norwood shared an update on social media Wednesday afternoon, saying she was resting after a health scare.
“To my beloved fam, friends, and starz thank you for sending love and light my way. I am following doctors’ orders and getting the rest I need due to dehydration and low amounts of nutrition. Thank you for your prayers and support. Grateful for you all, see you soon,” Brandy wrote in an Instagram Story.

TMZ reported the singer and actress was hospitalized a day earlier, after she suffered a possible seizure and paramedics were called to her home.
Brandy is known for her chart-topping duet with Monica “The Boy Is Mine.”
Brandy also starred in the TV series Moesha from 1996 to 2001, and she appeared alongside Whitney Houston in the TV movie Cinderella. More recently, she was one of the leads in the 2022 ABC music drama Queens, about a disbanded 1990s group that reunited.
