Beyoncé is gearing up to release her new visual album Black Is King tonight at midnight on Disney+.
On Wednesday, the superstar singer dropped a new trailer for the film on her Instagram account.
“Tomorrow at 12 midnight PST / 3AM EST on Disney+,” she shared on the post.
The video features stunning visuals, along with a cameo by Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter. There are also appearances by Jay-Z, Kelly Rowland, Naomi Campbell, Lupita Nyong’o, and Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson.
“To live without reflection for so long might make you wonder if you even truly exist,” Beyoncé says in the trailer before her song “My Power” starts playing over the clips.
A statement on the Disney+ website reveals the film was in production for a year, and says Black Is King is an “affirmation of a grand purpose, with lush visuals that celebrate Black resilience and culture.”
The album was executive produced and directed by Bey herself, and is based on the music from her album The Lion King: The Gift — which accompanied the 2019 live-action remake of The Lion King film.
