TV One’s Uncensored is taking an intimate look into the life of six-time Grammy Award-winning gospel music artist BeBe Winans.

The episode, which airs this weekend, chronicles Winans’ start as a backup singer for his older brothers before joining his little sister to create the duo, BeBe & CeCe Winans in 1982.

BeBe, 58, discusses his solo career, working with artists such as Whitney Houston, Yolanda Adams, Stevie Wonder and Eric Clapton, and realizing he needed to focus more on his health.

In a preview clip for the episode, the “Grace” performer recalls the moment he looked in the mirror at age 33 and said, “I saw myself, I guess for the first time, and I looked like three people. I made up my mind right then and there [to lose weight].”

Winans said he immediately left his hotel room and joined the nearest gym. The musical artist got candid on how working with a personal trainer and exercising helped improve his outlook on life.

“A lot of people don’t know, but if you really want therapy, start exercising and it will really set the start of the day to deal with a lot of things that come your way,” he noted.

“So I am faithful and I am camera-ready,” he added with a laugh.
