Shaunie O’Neal is engaged and the Basketball Wives star and executive producer says things are “wonderful.”

Shaunie, 47, shares details about her relationship in the season 10 trailer for the VH1 reality series.

“I’m older now and I know what makes me happy. I dated for the past few years and nothing was super serious and it sucked,” Shaunie tells Jackie Christie who asks her about the “new boo” during a shopping trip.

“It was just something more there. It was deeper, the conversation was different. I guess they say, ‘you know when you know,’ and I know. So hopefully I’m right,” Shaunie adds. “I just think that it’s so easy to love him and be with him.”

Shaunie was married to now-retired NBA star Shaquille O’Neal from 2002 to 2011. The pair share four children: Shareef, Amirah, Shaqir and Me’arah. Shaunie is also mom to son Myles from a previous relationship.

The mom-of-five will offer more details about her engagement when Basketball Wives returns on Monday, May 16 at 8PM ET/PT on VH1.
