‘Riches’ Trailer: Greed Tears a Family Apart in the Amazon Studios Series

With a family full of “greedy, gold diggers” you know there will be drama.

Prime Video released the trailer this week for Riches, a new drama series that asks — who needs enemies when you have family?

Per the official description, Riches “follows the exploits of the stylish, privileged, super-successful Richards family. When Stephen Richards passes suddenly, the family’s world comes crashing down. As his business hangs in the balance, his different sets of children are about to collide as they vie for control.”

The six-part series stars Deborah Ayorinde (Them), Hugh Quarshie (Absentia), Sarah Niles (Ted Lasso), Adeyinka Akinrinade (Top Boy), Ola Orebiyi (Cherry), Nneka Okoye (Grantchester), and Emmanuel Imani (Cobra). The cast also includes Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey) and Hermione Norris (Luther).

Abby Ajayi (How to Get Away With Murder, Inventing Anna) created and wrote the show. Executive producers include Ajayi Nadine Marsh-Edwards, Amanda Jenks, Alison Owen, and Alison Carpenter.

The drama is produced by Greenacre Films in association with Monumental Television, and commissioned by ITV. Amazon Studios co-produces.

All six episodes of Riches premiere Dec. 2 on Prime Video in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Nordics, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
