Alan Ruck, an actor famous for his roles in Succession and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, was reportedly involved in a multi-car collision in Hollywood on Tuesday evening, and his pickup truck crashed into a pizzeria.

The accident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. in the 1600 block of La Brea Avenue, where callers reported a crash involving several vehicles.

Surveillance footage obtained by KTLA showed Ruck’s electric Rivian truck rear-ending another vehicle. The vehicle was pushed into Hollywood Boulevard and was struck by a third car, while the actor’s truck clipped a fourth car before crashing into a building.

The video shows the front end of Ruck’s truck wedged into Raffallo’s pizza shop. Footage from the scene also showed Ruck talking on his cellphone after the crash.

“The whole building shook and I thought a bomb or something had exploded,” Tim Ratcliff, a local restaurant owner, told KTLA on Wednesday.

The aftermath of the collision saw the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Urban Search and Rescue team assessing the condition of the building and the truck.

A chain was used to remove the vehicle from its precarious position within the structure. Officials from the Department of Building and Safety also inspected the crash site to determine the building’s status.

According to KTLA, the building was yellow-tagged due to structural damage and the owners of the pizza shop were not able to open for business on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Fire Department revealed that a 32-year-old man was transported to a hospital, but the extent of his injuries remained unclear.

Two individuals, a 40-year-old woman who complained of arm pain and a 25-year-old man with undisclosed injuries, also required ambulance assistance, according to an LAPD spokesperson.

While police officers filed a report at the scene, no citations or arrests were made.

At this point, it remains unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident, as the police continue their investigation into the cause of the collision.
