Comedian Katt Williams was hauled off to jail Saturday in Oregon for allegedly assaulting a town car driver at Portland International Airport.

Williams was apparently headed to a live performance when an argument erupted over his dog being transported in the town car, according to local news station KATU-TV.

Police said the assault occurred at 11:13 p.m. Friday. The driver reportedly suffered minor injuries to his face and cuts, requiring treatment at an area hospital.

Williams left in another vehicle, and was arrested Saturday morning.

The Friday After Next star, whose real name is Micah Sierra Williams, was booked into the Multnomah County Jail.

Online inmate records show he was charged with fourth-degree assault (a misdemeanor).

Bail was set at $2,500, but he remained in custody as of Sunday morning. After arresting Williams, officers discovered he had an outstanding warrant in Georgia. The Multnomah County Jail website listed his projected release date as “unknown.”

Several people posted on social media that he was a no-show for a performance of the live comedy show Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out at Portland’s Moda Center.

The 47-year-old is no stranger to law enforcement. He has been arrested multiple times — in California, Georgia and now Oregon — on assault, battery and criminal damage to property charges.

The comedian was also hit with a civil lawsuit five months ago alleging he threw a salt shaker and injured a waiter after getting fed up that it was taking too long to get a table at a Georgia restaurant.

The lawsuit accused Williams of assault and battery, and sought unspecified damages for medical expenses and lost earnings. The plaintiff, Kevin Oliveira, said the alleged incident occurred at Spondivits Restaurant outside Atlanta in April 2016, but he filed the complaint this year.

Last month, Williams got a bit of good news when he won a Best Guest Actor in a Comedy Series Emmy Award for a role on the FX series Atlanta.
