Meagan Good returns to Lifetime this summer in the romantic thriller I’ll Never Let You Go.
The actress will executive produce and lead the cast of the original film about a romantic affair that goes off the rails.
Based on real stories, the movie is slated to premiere on Aug. 16, Lifetime announced Thursday, July 10.
I’ll Never Let You Go centers on a successful art gallery director named Emily Westover (Good). When her only child leaves for college, Emily struggles with empty nest syndrome and has trouble connecting with her husband Tom (played by Thomas Cadro).

Emily meets Italian artist Carlo (Antonio Cupo) at her gallery. Feeling lonely, she has a brief affair with Carlo but he becomes “unhinged.”
“When Emily realizes her mistake and tries to sever ties, Carlo refuses to let go — exposing their secret, sabotaging her personal and professional life, and threatening everything she’s built,” according to the official description.
Good previously starred in and executive produced the Lifetime films Death Saved My Life (2021), Buying Back My Daughter (2023), and Terry McMillan Presents: Forever (2024).
I’ll Never Let You Go is produced by Bruce Harvey for CMW Autumn Productions Inc in association with Studio TF1 America. Joey Plager and Meagan Good are executive producers. Troy Scott directs from a script written by Alex Wright.
The film premieres Saturday, Aug. 16 at 8/7c on Lifetime.
