Will Smith is distancing himself from Sean “Diddy” Combs.
During a performance at The Observatory North Park in San Diego, Calif. on Dec. 12, Smith addressed rumors that he attended “freak-off” sex parties at the center of the allegations against Combs.
“The world we’re in right now, it’s really hard for y’all to discern what’s real and what’s true,” Smith told the audience, via TMZ. “I’ve been seeing y’all memes and stuff. I see the memes. Some of that stuff is funny.”

But Smith said he wanted to set the record straight about his relationship with the embattled music mogul, noting that he has nothing to do with Combs.
“I haven’t addressed any of this publicly, but I just wanna say this very clearly: I don’t have s–t to do with Puffy. So y’all can stop all them memes,” he said to applause.
“Stop all of that bulls–t,” Smith continued. “I ain’t been nowhere near no damn ‘freak-off.’ Listen, I do enough of my own s–t, don’t be putting me in other people’s bulls–t. I ain’t been nowhere near that man, I ain’t did none of that stupid s–t. Whatever y’all are hearing, if somebody says that, it’s a damn lie!”
Smith then joked about the 1,000 bottles of baby oil federal prosecutors said were seized during raids on Diddy’s homes.
“I don’t even like baby oil,” Smith quipped.
Diddy on Friday withdrew his latest attempt to get released on bail ahead of his federal trial on trafficking charges, ABC News reported.
“Mr. Combs does not seek to appeal the district court’s denial of his renewed motion and hereby moves to voluntarily dismiss the appeal,” his attorney wrote in a filing to the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals on Dec. 13.
Diddy was arrested on Sept. 16 in New York City on federal trafficking and racketeering charges. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
He is currently jailed at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, after being denied bail by three different federal judges. His trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025.
Adding to the mogul’s legal troubles, he has been accused of sexual abuse in dozens of civil lawsuits filed by men and women. He has denied all of the allegations.
