Will Smith has his “notifications off,” while wife Jada Pinkett Smith reveals more and more about their marriage in interviews promoting her new memoir.
Smith posted a video on his official Instagram page Sunday, showing himself relaxing and sailing on the high seas.
The Oscar-winning actor was bundled up in a heavy coat in the footage, and took a nap inside the boat. A voiceover said jokingly, “Fun fact about me – I can take a nap almost anywhere,” as phone notifications dinged constantly in the background.
He captioned the post, “Notifications off” and included a smiley face.

Smith shared the video two days after Pinkett Smith’s wide-ranging primetime interview with Today anchor Hoda Kotb about the revelations in Worthy, out Oct. 17.
Pinkett Smith, 52, and Smith, 55, have been married since 1997. But the Girls Trip actress told Kotb they’ve lived “completely separate lives” since 2016.
She also discussed the Oscars slap in 2022, and her “entanglement” with R&B singer August Alsina.
Meanwhile, Smith described his estranged wife’s revelations as a wake-up call, in an email published Saturday by the New York Times.
“When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life,” Smith wrote, “a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.”
Pinkett Smith told The Times she no longer lives with Smith on their estate in Calabasas, California.
The actress and former Red Table Talk host said she bought her own house, also in Calabasas, as a 50th birthday present to herself.
While she no longer shares a home with the King Richard star, Pinkett Smith told The Times they are not in an open marriage, polyamorous or divorced.
She described their bond as life partners in family and business, and said they have “a relationship of transparency.”
