Wendy Osefo says people are treating the insurance fraud allegations against her and husband Eddie Osefo “as if it’s Bible.”

Wendy’s legal troubles take center stage on season 11 of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Bravo released a sneak peek this week, showing Wendy discussing her life since she was arrested.

The college professor and reality star meets up with fellow castmate Stacey Rusch, and Wendy arrives in a new Mercedes SUV.

“New car, who dis?” Stacey asks. Wendy calls the car “Psalms 91” after a Bible verse.

“It’s really an homage to one of the Psalms that has led me through these times,” Wendy shares.

“If Wendy wants a new ride to brighten her spirits, do you,” Stacey says in a confessional interview.

The video cuts to Wendy addressing the case. “I’m still trying to process everything that has happened,” she says.

She takes issue with people treating the allegations as if they’ve been proven.

“There’s been so many things written about me, written about Eddie, written about this case. People are taking it as if it’s Bible, without [us] ever being convicted of anything,” she says.

The new season will also focus on fellow housewife Karen Huger rebuilding her life after she was convicted and served six months in a Maryland jail for driving under the influence.

In the preview, Karen denies she has a drinking problem.

RHOP season 11 premieres Sunday, Oct. 11, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.

Wendy and Eddie were arrested at their home in Finksburg, Maryland, on suspicion of insurance fraud on Oct. 9, 2025. Their joint trial is scheduled to begin in January 2027, in Carroll County, Maryland.

The case stems from a reported burglary at their home in April 2024, while the couple vacationed in Jamaica.

Investigators alleged items reported stolen had been returned to retailers for refunds and that Wendy appeared in social media photos wearing jewelry she had reported missing.

In December, The Baltimore Banner reported prosecutors said detectives found 67 credit cards tied to the couple after obtaining a warrant and searching their home. Some of the cards had aliases, including “Pam Oliver” and “Eddie Hennessy.”

Prosecutors claimed Wendy and Eddie have “very little money” despite their luxurious lifestyle. The couple’s attorney denied all of the allegations against his clients.
