Former child actor Tylor Chase is getting much-needed professional help, after his friends and former Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide co-stars rallied behind him and pressed authorities to intervene.

Chase, now 36, lives in Riverside, California, and is experiencing homelessness, mental health and addiction issues, as previously reported.

Earlier this week, his former co-star Daniel Curtis Lee posted a video on social media saying he went to Riverside — which is about an hour from Los Angeles — and checked Chase into a motel.

In hindsight, Lee realized that wasn’t the best idea. On Dec. 25, he shared an emotional update on TikTok saying Chase had suffered a setback.

“We got him into the hotel and just that night, I received a call from management,” said Lee. He explained that an “upset” manager demanded to know why the room was in disarray.

“The door is open… the microwave in the tub, the refrigerator is turned over,” he said. “I just feel so devastated. I am at a loss and his family told me that they had tried the hotel thing before and it didn’t work.”

Lee admitted he was “crushed,” and questioned why local authorities hadn’t stepped in to help three nights earlier when concerned friends took Chase to a hospital, but he refused treatment.

Lee said Chase should have been put in a 5150 hold — a California code that allows an adult experiencing a mental health crisis to be involuntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalization.

Chase is now in an area hospital — at least for 72 hours — with a goal of getting him into rehab.

The Daily Mail published an article Thursday evening, saying Chase’s father contacted influencer Jacob “Jake” Harris, who has helped others dealing with addiction issues.

“Tylor has been taken to a facility by a mental health crisis team. He is under the care of Riverside county officials,” Harris said in a statement to the outlet.

“I was able to finally get ahold of a crisis center that would come out and do a same-day evaluation,” he added. “They determined he needed immediate help and brought him to a local hospital for 72-hour treatment.”

Earlier today, Daniel Curtis Lee also shared a positive update. He uploaded a video call he had with Chase to TikTok, and was shown telling the struggling actor: “I’m praying that this finally works.”

Chase’s situation first made headlines last week after a fan recorded a now-viral video of the actor at a strip mall in Riverside. The video was captioned, “This is so sad, ran into the boy that used to play on Nickelodeon, I remember watching him as a kid.”
