Senior shoppers at dozens of grocery stores across Louisiana and in the Atlanta area got a surprise Wednesday, when they found out Tyler Perry was picking up the tab.
Perry paid the grocery bills for shoppers at 29 Winn-Dixie stores in his native Louisiana and at 44 Kroger locations in his hometown of Atlanta, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The entertainment mogul’s act of kindness took place during “senior hours” at the stores, when older residents who are more susceptible to coronavirus are able to shop alone.
