The awards will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
The film is produced by Oprah Winfrey and will be released in 2023.
“I wish I would have done things different with her,” Odom said of Henson.
The televised musical also stars newcomer Celina Smith, Harry Connick Jr. and Tituss Burgess.
Due to the pandemic, the drama series had to cut its sixth and final season short.
