Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall ‘Were Forced’ to Cast White Person in ‘Coming to America’

“We kind of had done the movie and it was in the past,” Murphy says.
“I didn’t want the part of Imani, I wanted to be Lisa,” the actress says.
The first week of content is curated to celebrate Black joy.
The deal comes as many theaters remain closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new film titled ‘Coming 2 America’ is set to arrive in theaters on Dec. 18, 2020.
