Robin Givens is set to bring the drama in OWN’s new family saga Ambitions.
The actress plays Stephanie Lancaster, an ambitious attorney plotting to take charge of her family’s prestigious law firm.
Stephanie is married to Evan Lancaster (Brian White), Atlanta’s power-hungry mayor with dreams of becoming the first African-American governor of Georgia and there’s no line he won’t cross to get there.
The series centers around Stephanie’s intense rivalry with legal eagle and former friend Amara Hughes (Essence Atkins).
In the trailer for the series, Givens threatens to “destroy” lives if she doesn’t get what she wants.

Kendrick Cross, Erica Page, Brian Bosworth, Matt Cedeño, Deena Dill, Gino Anthony Pesi and Kayla Smith co-star in the drama.
Ambitions is produced for OWN by Will Packer Media in association with Lionsgate and its producer-distributor Debmar-Mercury.
Jamey Giddens created the series and serves as executive producer/writer. Will Packer and Sheila Ducksworth are also executive producers, and Kevin Arkadie is executive producer/showrunner.
