Jada Pinkett Smith says Red Table Talk will return in 2024.
Over the weekend, the Girls Trip star announced her plans to bring back the digital talk show, which she hosts with her daughter Willow Smith and mother Adrienne “Gammy” Banfield-Norris.
“The red table is coming back. We are in the works of a situation right now. So next year,” Pinkett Smith said during a live streamed interview on TalkShopLive, in partnership with Good Housekeeping on Saturday (Oct. 14).

While discussing her new memoir, Worthy, a fan asked the actress about the future of Red Table Talk — after the series was canceled in April as Meta shuttered Facebook Watch.
Pinkett Smith went on to explain why she didn’t make attempts to bring Red Table Talk back sooner on a different platform.
“We could not do the red table while I was writing this book and while Willow was on her music journey, so we have decided to come back next year,” she shared.
Red Table Talk premiered in 2018 and ran for five seasons, consisting of over 120 episodes and interviews with stars including Gabrielle Union, Tiffany Haddish, Toni Braxton, Kid Cudi, Wale, Ciara, T.I., Snoop Dogg, and more.
The show featured the hosts and guests sitting at a red table discussing key issues, including relationships, sex, politics, and race.
The Emmy-winning series was produced by Smith family production company, Westbrook, and both Will and Jaden Smith appeared in past episodes.
In 2020, the series broke viewership records when Will and Jada sat down at the table to discuss her extra-marital relationship with R&B singer August Alsina.
“About four and a half years ago… I started a friendship with August and we actually became really, really good friends. And it all started with him just needing some help, me wanting to help his health, his mental state,” Pinkett Smith said at the time.
She went on to reveal, “As time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August.”
Pinkett Smith’s show inspired a spinoff, Red Table Talk: The Estefans with Gloria Estefan, Emily Estefan, and Lili Estefan as the hosts. The spinoff premiered in 2021 and ran for one season.
News of Red Table Talk’s return comes as Pinkett Smith continues to promote her book.
The memoir includes bombshell details about her marriage with Will Smith — including the confession that the two have been living “completely separate lives” for the past seven years. Worthy is out Oct. 17.
