Sean “Diddy” Combs is nominated for a Grammy Award, but he may not be welcome at the show.

The Recording Academy, which hands out the awards, said it’s “evaluating” the status of his invitation after four different women filed lawsuits against the music mogul over the past month alleging sexual abuse.

“We are taking this matter very seriously and we are in the process of evaluating it with the time and care that it deserves,” the organization said this week in a statement to Rolling Stone.

The statement followed a story in the U.K. Mirror on Nov. 25, saying the Grammys are in “chaos” because some stars “refuse” to sit near Diddy.

“Several publicists have asked that their artists aren’t seated by him. It’s a logistical nightmare,” a source told the outlet.

The Grammy nominations were announced on Nov. 10, and Diddy’s The Love Album: Off The Grid received a nod in the best progressive R&B album category.

Six days later, he was accused of rape, sexual battery, and human trafficking in a 35-page lawsuit filed by ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.

Diddy denied the claims through his attorney, who called the allegations “offensive and outrageous.”

The following day, the music producer and rapper settled with Cassie for an undisclosed amount.

Three more lawsuits followed.

On Dec. 6, an unidentified woman filed a complaint in U.S. District Court in New York, alleging she was “sex trafficked” and “gang raped” by Combs, music executive Harve Pierre, and a third unnamed man in 2003, when she was 17 years old.

Combs immediately released a statement on Instagram denying the claims.

“Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth,” he said.

On Nov. 23, Joi Dickerson-Neal sued Combs in Manhattan Supreme Court alleging he raped her 1991, when she was a student at Syracuse University. Dickerson-Neal claimed in the lawsuit that she met Combs at a music video shoot. After agreeing to go on a date with him, she alleged Combs drugged her, assaulted her, and videotaped the encounter.

He denied the allegations in the lawsuit.

Also on Nov. 23, an unidentified woman filed a separate suit alleging Combs and R&B singer-songwriter Aaron Hall of the group Guy, “took turns” raping her in 1990 or 1991.

Combs denied the claims in the suit. Hall did not respond to requests for comment.
