Los Angeles police used surveillance video and social media posts from witnesses to identify the suspect in the fatal shooting of rapper Nipsey Hussle.

Late Monday night, the LAPD released a photo of 29-year-old Eric Holder of Los Angeles and asked the public to help track him down. He is wanted for homicide.

Police allege Holder gunned down Hussle and two other men Sunday at 3:20 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Slauson Ave.

The hip-hop star was standing in front of his clothing store with the other victims when the suspect walked up and opened fire, police said in a press release.

Earlier in the day, the Los Angeles Times reported that Hussle “likely knew” the gunman.

In another development Monday, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office released details of Hussle’s autopsy saying he died from gunshot wounds to the head and torso. His manner of death was listed as homicide.

Nipsey Hussle, 33, was a father of two. The rapper’s debut studio album, Victory Lap, was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019.
