Judge Lola Carmichael Gets Good News in New Trailer for OWN’s ‘All Rise’ Season 3

OWN dropped the official trailer for season 3 of courtroom drama All Rise on Monday and it’s full of drama.

The new season picks up six months after the season 2 finale, which ended on election night as Simone Missick — who plays Judge Lola Carmichael — awaits the results of her campaign.

The video reveals Judge Lola keeps her seat. “We are not going anywhere,” the judge tells her supporters on election night.

Yet she continues to face challenges in her courtroom journey.

“Show them why you won,” Judge Lisa Benner says as she tries to reassure Judge Lola.

All Rise follows the chaotic lives of its judges, prosecutors, and public defenders, as they work with bailiffs, clerks, and police to get justice for the people of Los Angeles amidst a flawed legal system.

Returning cast members include: Wilson Bethel as Judge Carmichael’s best friend, Deputy District Attorney “Mark Callan,” Jessica Camacho as public defender “Emily Lopez,” J. Alex Brinson as bailiff-turned-public defender “Luke Watkins,” Ruthie Ann Miles as Lola’s J.A. “Sherri Kansky,” Lindsay Mendez as court reporter “Sara Castillo,” Lindsey Gort as defense attorney “Amy Quinn” and Marg Helgenberger as “Judge Lisa Benner.”

The recurring cast features Samantha Marie Ware as law clerk Vanessa “Ness” Johnson, Paul McCrane as Judge Jonas Laski, and Suzanne Cryer as Deputy District Attorney Maggie Palmer. Cosby Show alum Geoffrey Owens is also shown in the trailer.

The show’s original home was CBS but after being canceled, the Warner Bros. Television production has now moved to OWN.

Season 3  of All Rise premieres Tuesday, June 7, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on OWN. The first two seasons are available to stream on HBO Max and Hulu.
