According to Netflix, subscribers watched more than 97 billion hours of content during the half of the year, which is the highest total the platform ever recorded over a six-month reporting period.

The streamer also announced it is changing how it reports viewership data. Beginning in the first quarter of 2027, the company will release a single annual What We Watched report instead of dropping the numbers every six months.
