Michelle Williams, Romeo Miller to Star in Third Installment of Lifetime’s ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ Movies

Michelle Williams, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Monique Coleman, and LisaRaye McCoy will all star in the next two films in Lifetime’s Seven Deadly Sins Anthology movie series.

The films will be titled Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story and Greed: A Seven Deadly Sins Story, the cable network announced in a recent press release.

The movies come from executive producers T.D. Jakes, Derrick Williams and Shaun Robinson, and are based on the series of books by Victoria Christopher Murray.

Wrath and Greed are directed by Troy Scott from scripts written by Richard Blaney and Gregory Small (Wrath) and Wuese Houston-Jibo (Greed). Below are details on the two new films.

Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story
Michelle Williams stars as lawyer Chastity Jeffries who hits it off with fellow lawyer Xavier Collins (Antonio Cupo). When Xavier starts to go from charming to obsessive, Chastity confides in her mother Sarah ( Knowles-Lawson) and turns to her former childhood boyfriend Roger Thompkins (Romeo Miller). But in the end, it is Chastity that will have to fight to save herself. Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story premieres Saturday, April 16 at 8 P.M. ET.

Greed: A Seven Deadly Sins Story
Monique Coleman stars as an interior decorator who seems to have it all — career success, loving family and friends, and devoted boyfriend Stephon Gardner (Nathan Witte). But when she meets handsome benefactor and entrepreneur Godfrey Anderson (Eric Benét) and his fabulously wealthy aunt Miss Viv (McCoy) she lets her values and morals slide to enter the moneyed world she so desperately wants to be part of. Greed: A Seven Deadly Sins Story premieres Saturday, April 23 at 8 P.M. ET.

Keri Hilson starred in the first of the Seven Deadly Sins Anthology movie installment titled Lust: A Seven Deadly Sins Saga. The second film titled Envy: A Seven Deadly Sins Saga starred Serayah (Empire), Rose Rollins (The L Word), and Kandi Burruss (Real Housewives of Atlanta), as previously reported.

More than 9.4 million viewers have seen Lust and Envy since the films premiered in April 2021.

T.D. Jakes previously partnered with Lifetime on Faith Under Fire and I Am Somebody’s Child.
