Rap music producer Metro Boomin has been accused in a lawsuit of sexual battery, drugging and raping a Los Angeles woman.

Attorneys with Los Angeles law firm Girard Bengali and New York firm Wigdor Law filed the civil complaint on Tuesday, Oct. 29, in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

In the 18-page lawsuit obtained by Urban Hollywood 411, plaintiff Vanessa LeMaistre says she met Metro Boomin in Las Vegas in the spring of 2016, not long after the death of her 9-month-old son who succumbed to a rare disease.

LeMaistre was “deeply distraught and in mourning” when she decided to go on a getaway to Las Vegas, the complaint says.

A friend introduced her to Metro Boomin, born Leland Wayne, during her visit to Vegas.

The two discussed music and he invited LeMaistre to visit his recording studio in California, where she lived.

LeMaistre welcomed the opportunity to watch the chart-topping producer work “because she was passionate about music,” and saw it as an escape.

Over the next few months, LeMaistre visited the producer in his studio several times, according to the complaint.

During a visit in September 2016, LeMaistre says “she took half a Xanax, which she used to help get through difficult days and numb the pain, and was given a shot of alcohol.”

She says after drinking the alcohol, she lost consciousness. After “waking up on a bed in a different location,” she was “completely unable to move
or make a sound,” the suit says. It goes on to allege Wayne raped her.

She says she “lost consciousness again and woke up at some point later to Wayne performing oral sex on her.”

According to the complaint, LeMaistre could not give consent for the sex acts after consuming what she believed was a laced drink.

A few weeks after the alleged assault, LeMaistre learned that she was pregnant with Wayne being the “only possibility of the father.”

“Given the recent loss of her son and the traumatic cause of her pregnancy, Ms. LeMaistre knew that she could not continue the pregnancy and maintain any semblance of her declining mental health,” the lawsuit states. “As a result, Ms. LeMaistre had an abortion in November 2016.”

LeMaistre’s lawyers say Wayne’s music is filled with explicit lyrics mirroring his “unacceptable behavior.”

“Metro Boomin has built a successful career with lyrics and social media that are not only offensive but also explicitly outline his intentions to harm women,” the attorneys said in a statement to Urban Hollywood 411.

Meanwhile, Metro Boomin’s lawyer Lawrence C. Hinkle II denied the allegations on Wednesday and said LeMaistre is after money.

“This is a pure shakedown. These are false accusations,” Hinkle said in a statement to the  Associated Press. “Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails.”

LeMaistre is seeking damages, compensation for lost wages, and attorneys fees.

Metro Boomin is known for curating the soundtrack for the film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The Grammy-nominated producer has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in R&B and rap, including John Legend, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Future, Kendrick Lamar, Offset, 21 Savage and A$AP Rocky.
