Mathew Knowles is going public with his breast cancer battle.
Beyoncé and Solange’s dad took to Twitter this afternoon to say he would be on Good Morning America Wednesday “making a special announcement.”
GMA tweeted a brief preview clip of Knowles on the show. The caption on the post said the businessman reveals his fight with breast cancer, and the tweet included footage of him being interviewed by co-host Michael Strahan.
“How was it to tell your family about the diagnosis?” Strahan asked before the video ends.
The interview comes as Breast Cancer Awareness Month gets underway.

Knowles, 67, is best known for managing Destiny’s Child and helping launch Beyoncé into stardom.
He divorced Tina Knowles in 2011 and remarried in 2013.
Knowles announced in April that he was working on a Destiny’s Child Musical with plans for Broadway, London’s West End, and a world tour.
“I want to pull back the curtain. I feel it’s time to give the world an opportunity to hear, see and feel the victories and failures that I’ve had as a husband, father and manager who risked everything in pursuit of fulfilling dreams – those of mine and others,” he said in a statement at the time.
Good Morning America airs weekdays on ABC.
